Ride on Washington, DC – 2011

Read my Post at 29000men.org

I’ve arrived at the point where I believe that we prostate cancer survivors may be our own worst enemy.

Please take a moment to read my “Cancer Activism” post over at the 29000 Men blog.

The Strong, Silent Role May be Killing Us

I firmly believe that prostate cancer survivors need to step up to the plate and talk about our disease and the actual impact it has on our lives.  Breast cancer survivors do this and it has made a significant difference in how the disease is perceived and the research efforts to cure it.

Rolling “Something”

The Vietnam veteran community made – and still make – significant contributions to the military veteran community through their Rolling Thunder program.

Perhaps we should consider a similar program for prostate cancer. Having thousands of voters arrive at our nation’s capitol carrying a unified message has a significant impact on our law makers.

August 23rd, Prostate Cancer Tour de USA 2010

I’d like to hear your thoughts and suggestions.  Leave a comment on this post or email me at CapitolHill@29000men.org.

Warm regards,  Robert

We need as much activism for prostate cancer as there is for breast cancer. Get in there men and the women who love them and let’s make it happen! Ride On!

  3. Thanks Konnie. Initial details for the 2011 Prostate Cancer Pony Express are at http://prostatecancerponyexpress.wordpress.com. Best, Robert
