Tour de USA 2010 Underway

Dispatches from the Saddle

Quick stop at Gorman for coffee.  Nothings fallen off the bike so my packing was good.  Next stop is the Fresno to harass the local TV stations

Many thanks to MB Mayor Mitch Ward for taking time out of his schedule to be at the sendoff and for the very gracious certificate he presented on behalf of MB City Council.

Also a big ‘thank you’ to Rebekah Kim of Representative Harman’s office for organizing the letter of support.

Weather is toasty and windy, but the Harley is just singing along

More tonight when I get to Bass Lake.

Follow us live at  Beep your horn if you see the bike with the Tour de USA sign on the back.

Finally, a quick not to everyone that has donated thus far.  My goal for the 45 days is $50,000 in donations of $25 or less.  You can donate online at  Some people have asked to donate the traditional way. If you do also, just send a check to The Prostate Cancer Awareness Project, 1601 N. Sepulveda Blvd, #576, Manhattan Beach, CA  90266.  Your donation is fully deductible.  We’ll send you a donation a letter and a commemorative patch.

Best regards,  Robert
