NBC Fresno Interview
I did a flyby at NBC TV in Fresno. They were extremely supportive and did a short interview that will air over the weekend and possibly Monday morning.
Hemorrhoids* and Harleys – Prostate Cancer Awareness on Highway 99
It’s a long, hot ride up the 99. My tactic was to ride faster than the truck traffic but slower than the fast lane so that the traffic flow would pass me and see the prostate cancer awareness sign on the back of the bike.
It worked. I got lot’s of thumbs up, and met two people at my coffee stop with fathers that were both a prostate cancer survivor and a prostate cancer victim.
I gave them a PSA Tracker and my usual schtick about testing and tracking.
All in all, a great day. 300 miles down, 44 days and 7,762 miles to go. It’s rain and thunderstorms in Casper, WY and Sturgis, SD. I hope it clears out before I arrive.
* Not really. It just alliterated nicely.
