YMCA to the Rescue

Nap Time

Finding places to sleep is going to be an interesting exercise for 46 days.  My plan is to connect with fire stations along the way to see if they have a spare bunk or will allow me to pitch my tent on their property. Even if that doesn’t work, I can always find a place to nap.  It can’t be any worse than the Southeast Asia war games of a few decades ago.

Cleanliness is Next to Godliness

We can sleep anywhere, but a hot however is much more problematic.  I’ve solved that problem by joining my local YMCA.  I now possess a nifty card that should be good for hot water in every state.  Thanks YMCA!

15 Days and Falling!

For those of us who are familiar with Douglas Adams’ ‘infinite probability machine,’ launch date is rapidly approaching 100% probability.

Hope to see you at the start, finish, or somewhere along the route.
