Installed the zumo 660 yesterday at Bartels HD in Marine del Rey. This should solve my navigation challenges and make it much easier to navigate urban areas heading to TV stations and YMCAs.
The route map is posted on the event website at Tour de USA.org and can be downloaded in pdf format.
I will be carrying a SPOT GPS tracker that will show my current position with a 10 minute delay. You can track my progress at the following website http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0KOpqhv9T3CbfbevFslaScrLlC6Zvl3J. You can use this with the Internet or your smart phone if you would like to link up with me on one of the daily stages.
I will be posting my route for the following day at our Facebook page [Tour de USA 2010], this blog, and on our Twitter accounts – Tour de USA and 29000men.
Check back as I install my saddlebags, turn signal relocators, etc.
